Greetings and welcome to my very first Webpage!

My name is Jill Raines, and I make my home in Rogers, AR. I am 30 years old, and I am married with a darling daughter, Janyssa, age 7 (going on 16!) My husband Neil and I work at KURM Radio here in Rogers,--he is the station's sports director, and I am the Continuity director--the fancy name for ad copy writer--and traffic manager, which basically means I write and schedule all the station's advertising. Believe me, it's not as fun as it sounds! *grin*

My husband and I are big sci-fi fans, mainly Trek, and Neil is a big Japanime buff. We like to attend Sci-Fi conventions and are avid filkers. For those of you unfamiliar with Filk, it is basically folk music with a sci-fi/fantasy twist---i.e. Dr. Demento!

Working in radio, you have probably guessed that I like to talk---A LOT! I love to get into intense conversations about deep subjects, or any topic whatsoever! I don't really get into politics much, but I've got an opinion about just about everything else. Why not share yours with me!
